ABOUT | CONTACT | PORTFOLIO | SERVICES

Design Module will schedule an initial interview to learn as much about your company as possible. This includes strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. I will review the types of services you require and will set up a time to discuss a creative/marketing direction. Images and content will be submitted following this meeting. Projects are refined, finalized and approved.

You will then provide technical copy and outline of all relative categories, which is then optimized and edited if necessary by Design Module and revised until you approve the document(s) and provide the final version in electronic WORD format. The text either need to be in one WORD document (regardless of length) or in separate WORD files, labeled according to the approved categories and outlines, and sent as a ZIP file to Design Module.

The final text should be returned edited and ready for print. (If full copywriting, copyediting or proofreading services are required I can provide this to you by separate agreement.) Images that were previously chosen will be posted for your approval, or custom developed as agreed. To accelerate the design process for web site and some print projects, Design Module will accept partial text with an initial approved home page/cover message and outline of all categories.

Based on what I’ve learned about you and your company, I will design and develop a visual concept(s) and post it for your online or in-house review. If needed, I will design additional “comps” (3 max). Sub pages, multi-page documents and presentations will be comp’d using a template storyboard for approval. Logos will consist of several comps of related ideas. Once a general design theme is approved, we move on to
specific revisions.

The revision process is simple, precise and includes two rounds of unlimited revisions to posted comps to edit your design to your complete satisfaction. Each submittal, no matter how many revisions are requested, count as one of your two rounds, so use as many alterations as necessary and make sure you have all necessary approvals and opinions before submitting. After a revised concept (web only) is approved, there is an additional round for text/technical changes only. Note: Graphic changes made for web or print media after design approval can be extremely time consuming and will incur additional charges.

Web and interactive products are coded and tested while print projects are pre-pressed and a final proof is made. For web sites I will post a working home page, showing you working buttons for your approval prior to completing the site. Revisions made after a proof will incur additional expenses. After approval, the items are uploaded or sent to press. Payment is made.
